Defense-Focused Edge AI Startup Tercero Technologies Relocates to ATDC at Georgia Tech in Atlanta

May 29, 2026

ATLANTA — May 29, 2026 — Tercero Technologies, a defense-focused edge AI startup, announced today that the company has relocated from Northern Virginia to Atlanta, where it has joined the Advanced Technology Development Center, or ATDC, at Georgia Tech.

The move gives Tercero a more capital-efficient base of operations as the company continues its current defense contracting work and prepares to raise additional private-sector funding over the next year. It also places Tercero closer to Georgia Tech’s technical ecosystem, Atlanta’s growing startup community, and a broader network of talent, customers, and partners across the Southeast.

Carl P. Evans III, founder of Tercero, shared: “I’ve been familiar with ATDC for almost a decade and have seen the great work they do for the technology ecosystem in Atlanta and across the State of Georgia. As a state-backed platform powered by Georgia Tech, ATDC has a strong history of helping innovative technology companies grow and scale. We’re excited to build from Atlanta as we expand our team, continue our defense work, and develop new product offerings over the coming years.”
